How to make a Battlefield 6 account — EA login, Secure Boot, and console links
Battlefield 6 needs an EA account no matter where you bought it — Steam, the EA app, Epic, PlayStation, or Xbox. The storefront launches the game, but your progress, unlocks, and bans live on the EA account.
How to make a Battlefield 6 account and save it
Step 1
Create or reuse an EA account at ea.com
If you played Apex, FC, or an older Battlefield, you already have one — sign in instead of making a second account.
Step 2
Verify email and turn on login verification
Confirm your email, then enable EA’s login verification (email or authenticator app) in account security settings.
Step 3
Link your storefront
Launching on Steam, Epic, PlayStation, or Xbox will ask you to link that account to EA. Pick the right EA login the first time — relinking later is painful.
Step 4
On PC, turn on TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot
EA’s Javelin anti-cheat requires Secure Boot. It is a BIOS/UEFI setting; follow EA’s Secure Boot guide or your motherboard manual.
Step 5
Save it in LoginScout

Why the EA login matters more than the store
Linking is sticky
A Steam or console account links to one EA account. Linking the wrong one strands progress — write down which one you used.

Login verification codes go to email. If that inbox is gone, backup codes on your vault card are your way back in.
Keep the PC setup notes
Note that Secure Boot and TPM are on for this PC. After a BIOS update resets them, you will know why the game stopped launching.
Battlefield 6 Secure Boot errors
If Battlefield 6 says Secure Boot is not enabled, the fix is in your PC firmware settings, not your EA account. Check System Information in Windows: “Secure Boot State” should read On.
This is also why Battlefield 6 does not run on Linux or Steam Deck. It is an anti-cheat requirement, not an account problem.
